Indicator and Fixing Tapes

Indicator Tape are pressure-sensitive adhesive. When the process of steam sterilization is complete, the color of the indicator stripes changes . The complete color change is a process of 15 to 20 minutes at 121??/250?H in a gravity cycle and 6 minutes in both a 132??/270?H gravity and vacuum-assisted cycle. When completely processed the color changes from white to dark black.

After the sterilization process is complete, the tape can easily be removed and cleaned, with no adhesive residue. Indicator tapes generally find application for immediate identification of the processed items while they also secure sterilization packs. Color change indicators are used to verify the exposure to the sterilization process. These tapes are individually packaged in 55 meters length roll and can also be availed in 25mm and 19 mm width. Mostly used in CSSD departments, these tapes are cut 1 inch in length and stick on the packs to be sterilized.

Indicator tapes and fixing indicator tapes offered by us can be used in a variety of ways by cssd 's. Coming with indicator-ink that shows by changing color if the sterile good has undergone sterilization process. This indicator tape is used to secure the packs that have been wrapped with woven, non-woven, treated woven, paper and paper/plastic wraps

Features:

• Approximately 5 cm long pieces of tape are enough for fixing packaging around sterile good

• Blue colored strong adhesive tape provides high tack, and is especially suitable for non- wovens

• Beige-colored tape is for crepe wrapping paper

Note:

• Storage instructions are printed on the cardboard box.

• Tapes with & without indicator have shelf life of 2 year after date of manufacturing

• Tapes designed for single use only

• Use only non-toxic and sterilization-proofed pencils for writing on tapes

• Do not stick pieces of tape to metal surfaces e.g. sterilization containers (residues of the adhesive could be left). These contaminations are not easy to remove.
